Seasonal Administrative Assistant
Location: Rochester, NY

Job Summary: *
Due to continued Firm growth and expansion of our client base, the Bowers Administrative Team is seeking seasonal assistance for tax preparation. This is a temporary position with potential for full time hire post April 16, 2023. Responsibilities: *

• Assist with the processing of tax returns, extensions, estimates, notices, etc.
• Assist in the preparation, proofreading, editing, and processing of documents
• Paper and electronic filing of client information; maintenance of filing systems
• Coordinate internal communications between administrative teams in Rochester, Watertown, and Syracuse

Basic Qualifications/Education: *

• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED Certificate
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a CPA firm preferred
• Ability to manage and direct communications between three offices

Hours of Operation: *

• Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Ability to work additional hours is necessary

Pay Rate: *

• Beginning at $18.00 per hour
