The Village of Ashwaubenon (Brown County, WI) is accepting applications for a full-time administrative assistant in the Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department.

Ashwaubenon is a vibrant suburb of Green Bay surrounding historic Lambeau Field. While over 17,757 residents call it home, this regional hub to shop, work, and play grows to 35,000 or more during the day. While it is a football town at heart, and the Green Bay Packers are an active member of the community, a large regional shopping district, the Resch Center (sports and entertainment arena), the Resch Expo (exposition hall), a performing arts center, a competitive collegiate baseball, and soccer stadium and the Epic Event Center (concert venue), provide loads of entertainment to both locals and tourists year-round.

The Parks, Recreation & Forestry Administrative Assistant performs difficult and often sophisticated clerical work for the Director of Parks, Recreation & Forestry, Program Supervisor, Forester, & Aquatics Coordinator. The primary duties of this position include clerical and secretarial support for the department, fiscal accountability, program registration, facility reservation coordination, and oversight of staff hiring processes.

Position Pay Range (2023): $23.99 - $31.66 (Hiring range up to $26.49) - plus an attractive benefits package.

Qualified applicants should possess the following:

• High school diploma, including and/or supplemented by business school training or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Extensive experience in performing secretarial work of a progressively responsible nature.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others and to deal tactfully and effectively with the public.
