About us

First Christian Church of Burkburnett offers both an online and in-person worship experience. We have about 50 active church members and a growing youth group. We engage church members who cannot join us for in-person worship through personal contact and other social opportunities.

Our church continues to innovate and navigate the possibilities that technology affords us. We are searching for someone who is willing to learn and grow along with us as we meet our community's ever-changing needs.

Our church seeks someone who can manage the church office. The work includes being proficient in Microsoft Office, able to work with printers and copiers, handle email and phone calls. The assistant will work closely with our pastor and church leaders to plan church events and make necessary arrangements. They should be able to provide their own transportation, running errands and visiting church people as needed. They will be tasked with managing the church’s petty cash and handling weekly deposits.

Candidates should be trustworthy, self-motivated, and able to work on tasks by themselves. The job will include connecting with and communicating with community leaders and other church representatives.

The Administrative Assistant will be supervised by the church pastor. They will answer to the Church Board via the Administration Chairperson and must be able to attend monthly Church Board Meetings. Background check required.
