THIS POSITION LOCATION IS ORANGEBURG, SC.
The purpose of the class is to perform a variety of moderately complex clerical work in the preparation and maintenance of Client files, to perform a variety of clerical tasks as assigned, and to provide professional and courteous customer service at all times.
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL TASKS
- Prepares, processes, copies, generates files, transmits and/or maintains various files.
- Ensures the security and confidentiality of files.
- Maintains records, prepare Court Orders, verify information and resolve moderately complex problems.
- Prepares and maintains correspondence, reports, etc.
- Schedule and maintain attorney calendars, such as conference with Clients, etc.
- Assists co-workers with clerical duties as necessary.
- Operates a personal computer and appropriate software packages or its equivalent.
- Performs basic clerical functions such as typing, data entry, filing, faxing, emailing and/or servicing Clients by phone, in person or via email. Answering a multi-line phone system.
- Assists Clients in completing applications and appropriate paperwork.
- Examines and processes incoming mail and distribute to the proper person on a daily basis.
- Maintains files on numerous Clients.
- Assists with preparing files for archiving purposes.
- Maintains documents and records of all Clients.
- Performs other related job duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED supplemented by education in a closely related field.
Requires at least three (3) years of related work experience.
