The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Support. Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions, meetings, and other project-related events, ensuring optimal time management and resource allocation.
  • Manage participant registrations, maintaining accurate records and promptly responding to inquiries or issues related to registrations.
  • Assist in coordinating venues for events, including researching and booking suitable locations, arranging necessary equipment and supplies, and ensuring a comfortable and conducive environment for participants.
  • Handle documentation tasks, such as preparing and distributing training materials, agendas, meeting minutes, and other relevant project-related documents.
  • Provide general administrative support, including maintaining project calendars, organizing files and records, managing correspondence, and assisting with any other administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an administrative support role or similar position is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all administrative tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with internal team members, clients, and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using office software and tools, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email and calendar management, and other relevant software applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
