The Department of Management in the Haub School of Business at Saint Joseph’s University invites applications for a non-tenure-track, renewable semester-to-semester, Adjunct faculty commencing January 2023. Ideal candidates will possess a Master’s, Ph.D., Ed.D., or D.B.A. in Management, Human Resources, Organization Development, Leadership, or a closely related field, with prior work experience. Candidates with teaching experience in both graduate and undergraduate courses in management, organization development, or leadership are highly desirable; courses will be online. Candidates with clear evidence of teaching excellence and student engagement are preferred.

Courses in topics for adjunct staffing are in the areas of:
  • Leadership
  • Business Ethics and Sustainability
  • Human Resources
  • Organization Development
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Duties and Responsibilities:
The teaching of a specified online course
Preparation of materials and online learning assignments (in Canvas)
Providing support and guidance to students
Advising students
Report grade


Secondary Responsibilities:
Cooperating with course coordinators or other program faculty to assure quality and consistency across the program.

Cooperating in program assessments

Minimum Requirements:
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Organization Development, Leadership, or a closely related major with meaningful experience in management and/or consulting. Meaningful experience teaching management, organization development, and/or leadership courses at the university level. Willingness to teach multiple courses across multiple programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D., Ed.D., or D.B.A. with a concentration in Management, Human Resources, Organization Development, Leadership, or a closely related field. Significant experience in Management and/or consulting. Teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels in online courses.
