Job description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all activities and managing all activities staff for the entire campus
- Responsible for giving Nursing Home residents announcements every morning containing day, daily activities, noon meal and weather;
- Takes care of daily changing calendars and boards to inform residents of daily activities;
- Responsible for recording all residents’ daily activities; Completes assessments and care plans
- Responsible for listening to residents’ concerns and helps find solutions to their concerns;
- Overall responsibility is to make sure scheduled activities are carried out;
- Prepare and plan the monthly activity calendar and newsletters (including making phone calls to reserve entertainment and scheduling outings)
- Assisting with serving meals and cleaning up the dining room when the need arises;
- Motivating the staff to participate in Themed Days;
- All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
