Acme Screw Operator
Euclid, OH area manufacturer is hiring for an Acme-Gridley Screw Machine Operator for 1st shift operations.
Needing at least 2+ years experience with operations of Multi-Spindle Screw machines, preferring Acme-Gridley machinery.
Job Duties:
- Read blueprints to determine part specifications and order requirements.
- Use gauges and other measuring instruments to make sure parts conform to specifications.
- Install collets, pushers, gears, cams, tool holders and any other tooling required to machine part per print specifications.
- Set all tooling as required.
- Verify conformance of first piece production, making sure all dimensions are in conformance with print specifications using proper measuring instruments.
- Tear down set-ups after job is complete.
- Sharpen/replace old tooling if required.
- Inspect parts to make sure they fit print requirements.
1st Shift: Monday-Thursday working 6:30am - 5pm
Starting Rate: $20 to $23 hourly
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
