Venteon Finance is hiring an ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ACCOUNTANT to provide support in Metro Detroit.
You will assist a busy investment company by applying your accounting talents to support the invoicing and payment side of the business.
POSITION TYPE: Full time. Contract-to-Hire. Hybrid (remote 4 of 5 days weekly). Immediate work.
PAY:$22.000 to $25.00 per hour based on education/skills
Requirements of the Accounts Receivable Accountant:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or Finance . Knowledge of GAAP.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience generating invoices and posting bank payments.
- Accurate data entry skills and ability to reconcile account differences.
- Experience with Microsoft products, particularly Excel
- Ability to pass a background check.
Duties of the Accounts Receivable Accountant
- Review and log client contracts.
- Complete client vendor forms.
- Set up new client projects in the system.
- Generate and distribute client invoices
- Retrieve , record and reconcile cash deposits.
- Processing 50-100 payments from company bank account per day.
- Handle client phone calls and email inquiries
- Actively participate in special projects, continuous process improvements and other duties as assigned
