ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSOCIATE
QUADRA IS ON THE SEARCH FOR A FULL-TIME ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
ASSOCIATE TO MANAGE ALL ASPECTS OF A/P, AT OUR WAREHOUSE OFFICE
IN SECAUCUS, NJ.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR A PROACTIVE CANDIDATE EXCITED TO WORK IN A FAST
PACED, DESIGN FOCUSED ENVIRONMENT. THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL LOVE
COORDINATING MOVING PARTS WITH A DETAIL-OBSESSED MINDSET.

RESPONSIBILITIES
THE ASSOCIATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROCESSING ACCOUNTS
PAYABLE, COMMISSIONS, A/P RECONCILIATIONS, EXPENSE ACCRUALS,
EXPENSE BUDGET PREPARATION, VENDOR PAYMENTS, GENERAL LEDGER
A/P MONTH END CLOSE PROCESSES AND REPORTING.

  • ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
  • TIMELY PAYMENTS TO VENDORS
  • PLACING ORDERS
  • MANAGING VENDOR RELATIONSHIPS
  • MANAGING AND REPORTING ON A/P
  • OTHER ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ANALYSIS WORK AS NECESSARY

REQUIREMENTS

  • MUST BE ABLE TO MAINTAIN THE COMPANY'S DAILY ACCOUNTING

RECORDS AND GENERAL LEDGER

  • MUST UNDERSTAND DEBITS/CREDITS
  • MUST HAVE HIGH ATTENTION TO DETAIL
  • PREPARATION OF ACCOUNTING SCHEDULES
  • EXCELLENT KNOWLEDGE OF EXCEL
  • PROCESS FULL-CYCLE ACCOUNTS PAYABLE
  • MANAGE PAYMENTS
  • PREPARE AND POST DAILY/MONTHLY/QUARTERLY JOURNAL ENTRIES

AND ACCRUALS

  • RECONCILE ALL BANK ENTRIES
  • PREPARE CHECK RUNS AND ASSIST IN MANAGING CASH FLOW
  • GENERATE AND DISTRIBUTE WEEKLY AND MONTHLY MANAGEMENT

FINANCIAL REPORTS

  • MUST BE A TEAM PLAYER
  • MAINTAIN STRICT CONFIDENTIALITY OF COMPANY AND PERSONNEL

INFORMATION

  • PERFORM OTHER ACCOUNTING OFFICE DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
  • COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY AND CONSISTENTLY WITH MANAGEMENT

AS WELL AS OTHER MEMBERS OF ORGANIZATION

  • MAINTAIN DOCUMENTATION FOR POLICIES, PROCESSES, CONTROLS

AND PROCEDURES

  • ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • BACHELOR OR ASSOCIATES DEGREE
  • MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN A/P
  • HIGH EXCELLENT INTERPERSONAL AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS
  • STRONG WORK ETHIC – MUST BE ABLE TO PRIORITIZE AND MANAGE

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
SALARY RANGE OF $50,000 TO $60,000 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
PAID VACATION/HOLIDAY/SICK.
HEALTH INSURANCE BENEFITS

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
