The Accounting Manager manages and completes a wide variety of activities within the hotel’s Accounting Department. This position is hands-on and is the sole accounting representative within the hotel.

The Accounting Manager’s responsibilities include but not be limited to the following:

  • Manage Accounts Receivables and account collection process
  • Manage Accounts Payable functions
  • Perform General Ledger transactions and reconciliations
  • Utilize accounting IT systems to facilitate processes and maintain records
  • Support all aspects of accounting management (billing, tax forms, reporting etc.)
  • Assist in the formulation and verification of internal controls and policies
  • Supports other managers with training and enforcement of accounting policies and procedures
  • Complete financial statements in compliance with guidelines and requirements
  • Manage journal entries, invoices, and other items to reconcile accounts for the monthly or annual closing
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Review and revise accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances
  • Strong Knowledge of Accounting Principles and understanding of all accounting areas (AP/AR/Income Audit/Payroll as required and in required time frames, daily, weekly/monthly/annually
  • As part of the Management Team, the Accounting Manager will perform other duties and projects as assigned

  • Organized finance professional with ability to prioritize and achieve results
  • Able to carry out tasks independently and accurately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
