Position Summary

You will join LONG’s Accounting team to assist in a variety of areas. You will become a part of our payroll and accounts payable processing schedule, help with month and year end items and provide support to other activities in the accounting department as well as cross training for a variety of functions.

Pay range: $42,000 - $50,000 plus potential profit share.

Responsibilities

• Process payrolls, including timesheet collection via multiple systems and auditing the timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
• Submit Certified Payroll reports weekly.
• Assist with data cleanup, testing, documenting, and implementing during pending ERP Implementation.
• Ad hoc tasks.
• Cross Training and Projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Have, or be pursuing, an Associates’ Degree in Business or 2+ years of accounting experience

• Respect for a high level of confidentiality and a willingness to accept responsibility and accountability within the team environment.
• Must be detail oriented. Can see the outlier, mis keyed data and catch mistakes of yourself and others using a variety of tools and strategies.
• Excellent time management, organization, and task prioritization.
• Strong customer service skills and work ethic.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
