Account Manager/ Order Entry

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Account Manager/Order Entry to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts and processing orders in a timely and accurate manner. You will work closely with the sales team, warehouse staff, and shipping department to ensure that orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer accounts, ensuring that orders are processed accurately and on time
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure that customers receive excellent service and support
  • Enter orders into the system accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all relevant information is included
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff and shipping department to ensure that orders are fulfilled correctly and on time
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and account information
  • Provide regular updates to customers on the status of their orders
  • Monitor inventory levels and work with the purchasing department to ensure that products are in stock
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to customers
  • Provide feedback to the sales team on customer needs and preferences

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in account management or order entry
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and order management software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles a plus

Job Details:
  • Direct Hire, Hybrid out of Chicago- MUST LIVE IN CHICAGO AREA
  • Monday- Friday 8-5pm
  • Pay is $17-20 an hour depending on experience
