Job description
The Expo Group is seeking an Account Manager to work in partnership with the project team and the client, helping to ensure we exceed client expectations while meeting the project objectives in a timely and efficient manner. The Account Manager is responsible for building positive client relationships and assisting the Account Executive with targeted upselling to increase project profitability.

This is position is based at our Orlando, Florida office. You must be able to regularly commute to the Orlando office. Some remote work may be available as the role progresses.

Our perfect candidate has at least two years of experience working in events, exhibits, or trade shows, and ideally has experience with Salesforce. Additionally, excellent client relationship management, professional verbal and written communication, and sound financial skills are required for success. Also, a good working knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Excel, Word is required.

You will:
  • Manage project lifeline and workflow details from start to end
  • Generate project timelines and work orders, and collaborate with Project Management to ensure all project requirements are fulfilled
  • Consult with client regarding graphics, production and show services details
  • Kick off the project to Exhibit project team
  • Complete show service orders, EAC and booth approval requirements
  • Produce all show invoicing and collect/confirm all payments are received in a timely manner
  • Reconcile post-show invoices against proposal to determine variances. Investigate unexplained variances to determine validity and accuracy
  • Monitor job costs to effectively manage project budgets and achieve or exceed forecasted show profit
  • Assist the Account Executive in the development of project budgets, sales presentation materials, data requests and other special projects as needed
  • Provide sales support specifically with Program customers and become adept at our asset management tool
