Job Title: Account Executive

Reports To: VP of Sales

Job Description: Salary – Exempt

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Purpose of Position:

Promote Company sales of products and services to new and existing accounts through proven sales and marketing practices. Develop new accounts and develop existing accounts. Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technical aspects affecting the marketing and consultative sales processes with our customers.

Essential Responsibilities:

· Working knowledge of all phases of pre-press, sheet fed press, web press, letterpress, and bindery operations.

· Accountable for maintaining and expanding annual profitable (value added) sales to assigned customers.

· Creating a customer sales forecast for each client in order to achieve and exceed company growth objectives.

· Accountable for maintaining all customer information and contacts, preferably entered into JR CRM system Hubspot.

· Complete estimate requests. Review contents of estimate to create accurate quote.

· Obtain complete and concise job specification information and assist customer by consultative selling and creative problem solving.

· Relay changes in customer’s specifications through correct process.

· Notify customer of costs for changes in project specifications. Obtain customer’s approval and authorization for changes or alternations of specifications, obtain purchase orders, and advise planning and production to proceed with authorized changes.

· Coordinate and exchange verbal and written information about customers’ projects, SOPs, and customers’ requirements.

· Transport and review materials with customer.

· Review job ticket information and invoice customers according to Company guidelines.

· Perform press check with the customer, and in the absence of the customer as requested.

· Assess customers’ plans regarding future print projects, future budgets and internal office automation or in-house marketing plans. Relay information to Director of Sales and Marketing.

· Develops additional contracts at each account to assure continuity and/or sales growth.

· Analyzes customers’ specifications regarding Company price list and guidelines to establish quotation structure.

· Participate in monthly Sales department meeting.

· Use arithmetic to perform sales representative duties, reviewing market and customers’ information.

· Solve problems using facts, problem-solving tools (i.e. Fishbone) and personal judgment.

· Deal with various kinds of people in a friendly, professional manner.

· See and comprehend small print and figures on job tickets, invoices, etc.

· Work on different projects and adapt to changing situations.

· Delegate duties to others, monitor progress, and provide feedback.

· Working knowledge of graphic/printing processes.

Requirements:

This job description requires Low risk/Low Security data attention.

Physical Demands:

Requires 100% color vision acuity and 100% field of vision capabilities.

Sedentary work involves sitting but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

Education, training, and experience. Any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
