The Position

We are searching for an Account Executive who is eager to join a highly collaborative team with the primary responsibility for discovering and developing new customers through cold calling/visits, industry partnerships, trade shows and networking, while educating prospect customers on our product and service offerings to close new business.

Our compensation plan consists of an attractive base pay with realistic quarterly incentive rewards based on performance targets that are designed to actually payout.

Placement Criteria:

We are looking for someone who has a demonstrated and well-rounded history of prospecting and educating prospective customers on products and service offerings as well as processes, contracts and pricing.

Our ideal candidate is goal-oriented and is self-driven to succeed, always challenging themselves to be better. While very outgoing and quick to jump at the chance to engage with prospective customers, this person is also a taskmaster with their book of business and follow ups, while keeping an eye on the overarching strategy, and consistently identifying areas of opportunity and improvement.

Bonus points (although not required) if you have experience in the Redemption industry, Family Entertainment industry or a similar or adjacent field. Our team is dedicated to delivering products that perform and services that simplify, helping our customers’ redemption program not only provide a memorable guest experience, but also be an optimized profit center.

Position Responsibilities

  • Daily prospecting calls and adding contacts to email campaigns;
  • Physically visiting customer/prospect locations monthly;
  • Generating and growing new business revenues and converting prospects to customers;
  • Find and input leads into SalesForce, contacting and educating leads on products and services and being their primary point of contact through onboarding before helping to transition them to an Account Manager;
  • Effective sales pipeline management utilizing data in SalesForce;
  • Provide an industry feedback loop to the team, keeping the team current with industry game performance, debit card vendors and features, as well as industry trends;
  • Maintain monthly meetings with industry partners to ensure strong communication and mutually beneficial relationships;
  • Travel to trade shows and merchandising projects, as well as regional customer/prospect visits, which sometimes requires travel on short notice (4-7 nights per month);
  • Maintain internal processes and proper customer documentation to reduce variation;
  • Deliver insights and trends through a strong and consistent social media presence, writing blogs/articles, and eventually with enough industry experience delivering speeches at conferences, trade shows and customer events on industry topics.

  • Five plus years in a successful Account Executive role
  • A pattern of academic achievement with a GPA of 3.5 or greater
  • Have operated within a defined Sales Process
  • Experience selling Consumer Products to retail outlets is a significant plus
  • Experience in the Toy and Gift industry would be valuable
  • Proven ability to discuss your Account Executive accomplishments in quantitative terms
  • Currently have a separate home office area in your home with high-speed internet service

Compensation/Benefits:

Competitive salary based on experience and proficiency, phone and mileage stipends, and quarterly commissions based on performance. We believe Account Executives should earn their full commissions every year.
