Bryant & Stratton College Program Managers (PM) perform both administrative and instructional duties. As administrators, PMs support the College mission and vision by overseeing the day-to-day management of their program areas. They are responsible for coaching and mentoring instructors who are teaching non-traditional adult learners in Criminal Justice, Paralegal, MATH, & Computing Skills, including new students. PMs are also responsible for providing guidance to subject-area instructors and for ensuring that all required record keeping and reporting are completed in a timely and accurate manner. This position is best suited to someone who prefers a fast-paced environment, adapts to change, and seeks to actively develop new skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate faculty credentials as part of the hiring and scheduling processes
  • Perform developmental and evaluative classroom observations, facilitate post-observation discussions, and assist faculty in creation of developmental plans
  • Assist the dean in ongoing faculty development and faculty development planning and delivery
  • Assist the dean in developing and maintaining the Professional Teaching Portfolio to affect the quality of teaching and learning in their program area
  • Participate in the curriculum monitoring and development process
  • Organize and monitor subject-specific campus-wide initiative and activities
  • Adhere to and uphold all established operational policies and procedures
  • Reviews beginning and end-of-term paperwork for quality assurance purposes and accuracy of information
  • Required to teach at minimum 1 online course per semester as assigned by the dean
  • Complete any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Education or equivalent
  • Experience with non-traditional learners preferred
  • Successful experience managing large teams
  • Online teaching experience is required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
