Driven Behavioral Support works with families of children with disabilities to provide support for challenging behaviors and teach new skills using the principles of ABA. DBS was founded directly by BCBAs whom share a passion for helping others in our community. We are a close-knit team of experienced practitioners who are looking to take our passion for serving families in our community of children with disabilities to the next level. Responsibilities:

  • As a clinician, you will be helping families and individuals by providing direct behavior therapy in their natural setting, such as in their home, community, or possibly educational setting.
  • Our passionate behavior clinicians will help individuals with autism learn how to communicate, play independently and appropriately, socially engage with family members and others, and function independently.
  • Implement behavior reduction plans with the individual that are designed to give the best opportunity to function safely, as well as the ability to attend to learning activities.
  • Assist in collaborations with the client's family, caretakers, or other professionals as assigned.
  • Communicate consistently with supervisor regarding progress and difficulties with client's program.
  • Collect data and complete session notes on a daily basis.
  • Participate in orientation training to become familiar with basic ABA terminology and demonstrate proficiency in executing ABA treatment programs: Including but not limited to discrete trial training (DTT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), Verbal behavior, data collection methods, behavior reduction strategies, and more.
  • Other duties as assigned per clinician's experience level.

Requirements: Minimum High School diploma or National Equivalent.

  • Preferred : Currently enrolled in college/university with 2 years of college coursework completed in psychology/related field.
  • Preferred: At least 1 year of experience/exposure to individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities; either professionally or personally.
  • Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is a plus and will come at a higher pay rate.
  • Ability to work daily 3pm-7pm. (Hours may vary) Morning and daytime hours may be available in addition to afternoon and evening hours, based on program need.
  • Preferred: Weekend availability to provide additional support to our clients.
