Job description

The 3D Printing Technician will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the 3D printing equipment. They will ensure that the 3D printers are functioning properly, prepare and clean the printing surfaces, and manage the printing process. The 3D Printing Technician will also be responsible for post-processing tasks such as rinsing and curing the printed pieces.

Responsibilities

• Check that the 3D printers are powered on and functioning properly
• Rotate the build plates to allow for any remaining resin to drip off
• Prepare the 50/50 resin mix and fill the printers as required
• Start the printing process for each model assigned to the printers
• Rinse and clean the printed pieces using the provided PPE and alcohol cleaning cups
• Cure the printed pieces under the ultraviolet light for the appropriate time
• Keep track of inventory levels and use communication tools provided
• Perform routine maintenance on the 3D printers as needed
• Clean and organize the 3D printing room
• Ensure all tasks are completed by the end of each day

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of 3D printing is ideal, but not required. Everything can be taught.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and be proactive.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.50 per hour
