A Day in the Life of a Supply Chain Analyst Associate :
In this role, you will provide the analytical and strategic leadership required to support decision-making within a defined commodity or commodities for the aircraft manufacturing process. You will manage and analyze high volumes of data, facilitating the launch several projects a week to support subsequent development of
Long-Term Agreements.
Responsibilities May Include
:
- Identifying strategic procurement opportunities
- Maintaining a comprehensive and current commodity fact base
- Performing qualitative and quantitative analysis to guide decision-making
- Critical analytical activities include demand analysis, vendor(s) evaluation, and sourcing value
- Provides analytic and strategic implementation support to both strategic and tactical procurement professionals involved in the implementation of identified strategies
- Managing both the existing and potential long-term contracting plan for the designated commodities.
- The evaluation of program execution timeframe, operational need, and workload evaluation
Education Requirements
:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 4-year degree (BS/BA) in Supply Chain Mgmt, Business Administration, Industrial Technology/Management, Engineering, Finance, Accounting degree or similar.
- 3.0 minimum overall, undergraduate GPA.
Minimum Requirements for a Supply Chain Analyst Associate at Bell:
- Strong computer skills
- Experience working on cross functional production teams
- Experience in Supply Chain Management, Finance or related area.
- Excellent writing, presentation (ability to deliver presentations to leadership) and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen.
Ideal Candidates Also Have:
- Experience applying Six Sigma / Lean Principles / Tools a plus.
- Strong project management skills
