Twin Oaks Academy is searching for applicants to work in residential setting. The goal of this program is for is to timely reunify unaccompanied alien children with their families, in a caring, understanding, and compassionate setting. We are seeking people that have experience in the human services field, and are looking for individuals who speak Spanish. Our agency is a non-profit that has been working with youth, providing guidance and service to them, for over 20 years. Please see all available position posted. Only serious inquiries need apply.
Youth Care Worker Job Summary:
- Modeling appropriate behavior at all times while mentoring and providing direct sight and sound supervision of residents in educational, recreational, leisure and vocational settings.
- Completes all documentation, including incident, accident, and behavioral reports, as required in accordance with Twin Oaks Academy, DCF, and ORR policies.
- Effectively addresses resident unacceptable behavior through verbal dialog and implementation of the behavior management system.
- Facilitates groups as needed.
Youth Care Worker General Requirements:
- Must have at least one year of paid, verifiable experience working with children
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must be Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Current state driver’s license.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Meet criminal background check and drug screening per state requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
