The Positions: NMYFS has multiple full-time and part-time Youth Behavioral Specialists positions available in the Placerville area of El Dorado County, CA. Currently hiring for graveyard, weekends, and on-call positions only.

Youth Behavior Specialists are responsible for maintaining an environment that is safe, comfortable, and therapeutic for children at our children’s shelter in the Placerville area of El
Dorado County. Your work assignments will be at our runaway and homeless youth shelter as well as in the community. You would provide individual and group support as well as case management and advocacy for shelter youth. Light housekeeping, cooking and keeping accurate documentation are other important aspects of this position. We are searching for a person who has a commitment to youth and can work as a team to keep the youth safe while having fun.
This job will test your patience but it will also fill your heart. And a sense of humor doesn’t hurt!

Education: A college degree is preferred but not required for this position.
Experience: Experience with children, adolescents, and/or families is preferred but not required.
Salary/benefits:

• Pay Range: o $17.00 - $21/hour
• $2/hour shift differential between 10pm-6am
• 10% bilingual pay (only Spanish)
