Pay:
$68,723 - $87,609 / annually (based on experience and education)

Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm; flexible workday)

General Position Summary

YFS Program Director leads and supports the operations of the Independent Living Program, Father Taaffe, Rainbow Lodge, Transitional Living Community and Mission Benedict. YFS Director will assure both the quality, outcomes, and financial health of programs.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Social Services or similar field, and two years’ experience working in social services or related field that includes progressive supervisory and leadership responsibilities.

  • Prior budget, operations, and Quality Improvement CQI experience.
  • Reliable transportation, valid Oregon driver’s license (or the ability to obtain a valid Oregon driver’s license within 30 days of hire) with a driving record that permits coverage under the agency’s corporate auto liability policy and personal automobile liability insurance.


Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Social Work, Social Service, or similar field

Essential Position Functions and Key Word Processes

  • Manages and directs all programs as outlined in the General Position Summary.
  • Oversees the daily operations of the programs to include program contracts and compliance, program integrity, budget/financial health, fundraising events, goals and outcomes, including consumer satisfaction and staff support. Assures both the quality and financial health of programs.
  • Supervises, mentors, and develops program staff to ensure employees have the tools and support available to perform their best work.
  • Develops, recommends, and implements program policies and procedures.
  • Assures compliance with internal policies and external contract, policies and Oregon Administrative Rules as applicable to each program.
  • Leads program in implementing CQI projects.
  • Participates in Leadership team and other teams as directed by the Chief Operations Officer and Executive Team. Acts as a liaison with external agencies and community partners.
  • Assists Executive Team and other directors with the agency’s strategic planning.
  • Attends CCS Board meetings or committees as directed by the Chief Operations Officer.

Job Complexity

  • To maintain agency approval for Program COA, including substantial licensing, certification, and contracts compliance.

Interpersonal Contacts

Contacts are numerous and frequent with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization. Interaction will involve face-to-face, video conferencing, email, and telephone contact. The interactions may involve confidential and/or sensitive information requiring discretion at all times. Frequent interaction with staff and employees at all levels of the organization. Contacts include employees, vendor associates, partner associates, legal consultants, benefit consultants, community stakeholder and partner groups, state/county representatives, and the general community.
