Position Description
Job Title: Warehouse Yard Lead
Job Objective:
The primary objective of this role is to perform a variety of duties as assigned in the Warehouse Yard to ensure the successful delivery of client contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the inventory team to conduct cycle-counts- Report counts to the inventory group as needed
- Participate in the annual physical inventory
- Organizes yard layout according to bin locations
- Ensuring that shipping/received inventory matches orders.
- Reports damaged inventory for repair or disposal
- Make sure drive paths are cleared for safe operation
- Seasonal maintenance needs to be kept (snow removal, grass cut)
- Yard sweeper must be run monthly in the warmer months
- Create crating standard for product in the yard
- Running reports, printing orders, create paperwork where needed
- Ensure these parts are all on a ticket and loaded
- Follow and comply with all safety, work rules and regulations while maintaining company standards
Required Skills/Abilities:
Forklift Certification- Electric Pallet Jack Certification
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to company values
- Ability to work independently
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/GED or relevant work experience.
