Position is located in Lemoore, CA.

Must have a current CA Driver License and clean driving record. Must be able to pass a drug screen. Provide light maintenance duties, cleaning contaminated equipment. Prepare units for delivery. Identify, remove, transport or dispose of hazardous materials. Perform related work independently with minimum supervision, exercising judgment and initiative. Help with anything in the yard to assist welders, fencing department and drivers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow and perform prescribed safety procedures, and comply with federal laws regulating waster disposal methods.
• Follow and perform the proper cleaning of contaminated equipment or areas for re-use, using detergents and solvents, sandblasters, filter pumps and steam cleaners.
• Install units at customers’ premises as assigned.
• Remove waste or hazardous materials from units using hand and power tools such as scrapers, vacuums, and high-pressure sprayers.
• Follow appropriate safety procedures when transporting or handling materials.
• Servicing of units, arranging of units according to OSHA requirements.
• Install, replace or change parts according to unit specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicle.
• Engage and follow proper procedures of pump operation as instructed.
• Communicate with management and other works via telephone, or radiotelephones.
• Promotes available company services and products.
• Promote clean and safe working conditions.
• Knowledgeable and supportive of all company policies and directives.
• Other duties and responsibilities that may be added or assigned by management.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Ability to maintain effective communication with management.
• Ability to performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms, legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials.
• Operate heavy equipment and process material accurate.
• Ability to operate machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Ability to identify, transport or dispose of hazardous materials.

EDUCATION:

• Any combination of education and experience, demonstrating the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of assigned duties.
• One-year experience in mechanical related industry.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Ability to obtain and renew any certificates, licenses, registrations required by law or management for the position.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Must have mechanical aptitude. Be physically able to work in various weather conditions. Climb and lift ladders, be able to work around cleaning products and equipment for chemical toilet service and repair.
• Effective communication skills, organization and planning skills.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions, use proper judgment relating to customer’s property and job performance.
• Must be able to enforce safety rules; protective apparel, liquid splash protective clothing, personal protective suits, and protective eye lens.
• Understand the principles of safety rules and regulations of working with hazardous materials, according to OSHA requirements.

ABILITIES :

To perform this job successfully, individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are the representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Position requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time; move fingers and hands, ability to stoop, crawl, bend, twist, reach, and crouch. Perform the essential duties with minimal or no supervision. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.50 - $18.50 per hour
