We’re looking for a Writer who is passionate about developing ground-breaking player experiences to help us define what narrative means within our studio, shaping how we develop our levels and worlds internally, to ultimately deliver memorable and unique experiences for our players.

This position will primarily focus on creative writing, though will also encourage growth in the more technical aspects of our narrative development pipeline, where you will collaborate closely with teams across the entirety of the studio to better define how story integrates with the player experience.

What you’ll be doing…

• Develop compelling, engaging, and immersive narrative game experiences.
• Maintain the narrative vision of the project.
• Explore new ways to bring characters to life with a practical approach that blends seamlessly with gameplay.
• Write, iterate, and implement compelling dialogue for characters and missions.
• Collaborate with directors and designers to create mission structures that clearly convey narrative beats and plot lines to support the story.

To succeed you must have…

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, being able to work both independently as well as in collaborative team environments, and be able to absorb direction, feedback and pivot as needed.
• Knowledge of industry trends and successful intellectual properties, especially with modern video games.
• A passion for interactive storytelling.

We’d love it if you also have…

• Game development experience in a writing or narrative design role, ideally in writing branching and non-linear dialogue for games.
• Scripting experience, either with text based or visual scripting languages.
• Published written works (novels, short fiction, film, television, comics).
