Position Details
Engage families, youth and system partners in a team-driven, strengths-based, creative problem-solving process as part of an inter-disciplinary team that facilitates healthy development of children/ youth and increased family stability and support. Services are family-centered, delivered in the home/community. Positive outcomes are achieved through purposeful and respectful relationships rooted in trauma informed care, hope and evidence-based research. An openness to embrace and explore bias, equity issues, successes and challenges from a place of understanding and curiosity is needed to succeed and develop in the position/organization.
Position Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field from an accredited college or university
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children and families.
* Valid driver’s license per program specifications
* Reliable transportation per program specifications
* Ability to work non-traditional schedule based upon program requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
* Ability to work with culturally diverse populations
* Ability to work with children / youth meeting SED criteria
* Facilitation of comprehensive wraparound plans that reflect the strengths, values and culture of families
* Ability to document work clearly and concisely, and in a timely manner
* Ability to screen and assess for program eligibility
* Working knowledge of community systems, private health care systems, collateral agencies
* Ability to assemble and facilitate child and family teams, which includes both formal and natural supports
* Leading teams to assist youth and families in meeting their identified outcomes
* Knowledge about recipient’s rights and HIPAA compliance requirements
* Knowledge of Code of ethics and a history of ethical behavior
* Ability to work independently within a team structure
