Department Overview
PG&E’s Underground Program organization is working to reduce wildfire risk each day as we underground 10,000 miles of distribution lines. We are responsible for working across all internal teams and engaging external stakeholders to support successfully meeting our goals and reducing wildfire risk in our hometowns. We work in an exciting and fast-paced environment.

Position Summary
Acts as a liaison between the work stream manager and other leadership throughout the organization. Provides planning, strategic analysis, and operational support. Facilitates, directs, and coordinates activities and special projects related to the operations of the work stream. Solves problems, mediates disputes, and addresses issues before they are escalated to the manager. Builds effective partnerships and promotes collaborative relationships throughout the organization. Measures and analyzes performance and supports process improvement and lean management.
This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

CA Minimum: $97,000
CA Maximum: $144,000

And/Or

Bay Minimum: $102,000
Bay Maximum: $152,000

This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.

Job Responsibilities

Measure, analyze and evaluate project/program performance based on established business metrics (project/program and portfolio level).
Participate and measure target price/cost validations. Prioritize issues and facilitates/takes corrective actions, as appropriate.
Work with senior management to support strategic resource planning support. Support the workstream, in participating in and measuring target price/costs validations.
Develop and manage resource and work allocation, analyze work processes and making recommendations for process improvement where needed.
Manage funding and contingency status of projects/program; work with Business Finance and PM's on monthly variance explanations.
Gather, compile and provide data, reports, information for executive presentations and regulatory requests.
Support close-out efforts and construction packages, as needed. Work as a delegate for WS program manager as needed; support Alliance Partnership activities.

Qualifications

Minimum:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
Experience in Electric, or related, 5 years
May travel up to 20% visiting other offices.

Desired:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
Experience in capital management
Experience in gas industry, or related, 8 years
PMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certification
