General Scope of Responsibilities

The WISE Coordinator will be responsible for the daily oversight and supervision of the WISE/SBIRT Pilot program. The Coordinator will also be responsible for direct supervision of the WISE Facilitator, reporting, facilitation of the advisory committee, program media and marketing and other duties as assigned. The WISE Coordinator will report to the RSVP & Health and Assistance Programs Director.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordination of WISE/SBIRT pilot program.
  • Attend required trainings to conduct the WISE/SBIRT pilot program.
  • Supervise WISE Facilitator and assign duties for WISE-SBIRT pilot program to meet program goals and requirements.
  • Oversee maintenance of records and follow record keeping procedures to meet program and funding requirements.
  • Prepare quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports as required by the Catholic Charities agency and all program funding sources.
  • Coordinate and facilitate advisory committee.
  • Develop marketing strategy for WISE/SBIRT pilot program.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in human services, education, social work, public, and/or geriatrics is preferred
  • Four years’ experience in the field.
  • Credentialed Prevention Professional or eligibility desired.
  • Strong presentation, organizational and verbal and written communication skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft software, required.
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License and access to personal transportation during working hours is required.

Hiring is contingent upon clearance of Catholic Charities and program funders required background checks, sanction screenings and Central Registry Clearance plus completion of mandated trainings.
