Willapa Behavioral Health is in search of a WISe Care Coordinator, to support children and their families in their community in a least restrictive environment using the Wraparound process. Wraparound works to honor the family voice and choice, identify strengths, build natural supports, and foster self-sufficiency. Wraparound teams provide comprehensive behavioral health services and supports to individuals, up to 21 years of age, with complex behavioral health needs and their families. The goal of the program is for eligible youth to live and thrive in their homes and communities, as well as to avoid or reduce disruptive out-of-home placements. Assessment, treatment, and support services are provided in the youth and family’s natural setting, where needs and challenges present themselves (such as the home, school, and community). Families report excellent outcomes including, youth/family stability, increased support, and connection to their community and hope for the future.
Willapa Behavioral Health provides outpatient services, is nationally accredited, and provides high quality care with experienced professionals to the Pacific County since 1986. Services include adult, child & family services, chemical and problem gambling treatments, co-occurring disorders, and medically addicted treatment, and medical services. In addition, a critical service to Pacific County, WBH provides 24/7 Mobile Crisis Services. Willapa Behavioral Health has grown adding new locations and positions, expanding from 2 locations to currently 5 locations in the past 3 years.
WBH area offers affordable housing, beautiful views, outdoor activities, located approximately 1 hour from the Pacific Ocean, 3 hours from Portland and 2 hours from Seattle. This location provides affordable living with plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities including hiking, camping, fishing, biking, and much more.
Duties:
WISe Care Coordinator functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating the clinical skills and experience to assess, plan, develop, coordinate, and provide treatment and support services to clients and families. Provide education, consultation to families, and crisis intervention services to clients and families assigned to the team.

Minimum Qualifications: *
Bachelors’ degree in psychology, social services, or a related field required; minimum of two years’ experience working with clients with mental illness preferred.

Must be skilled in managing team conflict, engaging a variety of personalities, facilitating meetings, communicating with various audiences and must be able to represent the agency in a positive and professional manner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer proficiency to document in the electronic medical record (EMR) and utilize telehealth and Microsoft office suite.
Undergo and pass criminal background check upon initial employment and any subsequent checks required by the agency.
Meet requirements of agency’s drug free workplace policy.
Excellent customer service with a client focus.
Able to sit, stand and move for long hours at a time and lift up to 25 pounds.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Able to drive in daylight, darkness, and typical Northwest weather conditions.
Flexible to fill-in shifts if needed.
Able to maintain good rapport with co-workers.
Demonstrate competency in working with a diverse population.
Demonstrate ability to work effectively in the mental health system.
Knowledge of mental health, family systems, and community resources
Must be fully vaccinated
