WHAT YOU'LL DO


  • BCG’s Windows-Next team is a part of the Personal Productivity team within our World Wide IT organization.
  • The team owns and drives the next version of Windows including imaging and upgrade products to a large global organization (~35000 end points) while also working with application teams to ensure the integrity of the operating system and overall end user laptop experience.
  • Applicants will work with highly cross-functional global teams taking a pro-active approach to identify potential issues and improving the Windows environment and ultimately the end user experience.
  • As a Windows Operating System Engineer, you will use on-prem technologies such as AD and SCCM and cloud based technologies such as Azure and Intune for deployment of the OS within the environment. You will be responsible for packaging, testing, and deploying image and upgrade products to end users. You will work closely with other Windows related teams in accomplishing our unified Tribe objectives.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)


  • Previous experience with SCCM (packaging, imaging, CIs, collection management)
  • Previous experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)
  • Previous experience with Windows - including operating system deployments and features (i.e. Hello for Business)
  • Previous experience reading Windows logs
  • Experience opening and working with Microsoft on problem cases
  • Knowledge of Windows Laptop Performance & Stability
  • Familiar working in an agile environment and tools (i.e. Jira)
  • Familiar with tools such as Aternity, ServiceNow, AD, PowerBI
  • Ability to deliver informative, well-organized demonstrations, and data analysis
  • Ability to write technical documentation
  • Previous experience supporting end users, focused on User Experience
  • Ability to collaborate with technical teams, application owners, and IT service to ensure usability and service value
  • Identify the strengths and weaknesses of an organization's Windows Laptops and related processes and suggests areas of improvement.


YOU'LL WORK WITH


You will work with team members in Asia, Europe, and the United States supporting a global user community. Flexible work hours will be required.
