Your Role With Us:

Our West Valley Hospital location in Dallas, Oregon is expanding! We are seeking a creative, collaborative, and outgoing self-starter to take on the role of Physical Therapist at our West Valley Hospital location.

You will play an essential role in patient care and interaction as a Physical Therapist on the Salem Health team. Your confident communication style will enable you to operate within an excellent team of patient care professionals where your individual abilities are both challenged and rewarded. You will work independently as well as collaboratively, maintaining a positive, professional demeanor while prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines. You will be constantly challenged to think creatively to drive patient care results, stay updated on current trends and practices, and share learnings with your team and other health care colleagues. Background/Expertise:

  • A BS, MS, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience or clinical rotation in department specific area required.
  • Graduate of a program approved by the Committee on Accreditation in Education of the American Physical Therapy Association and holds a valid license to practice in the state of Oregon or is license eligible.
  • BLS from the AHA within 90 days of hire required.
  • Team player and have proven success applying team approach to obtain resolution to an issue.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, problem solving, decision making and organizational skills for working with the rehabilitation team and patients.
  • An ability to prioritize and multitask while working in a high-volume multidisciplinary setting.
  • Demonstrate competency by implementing age, culturally sensitive, and developmentally appropriate treatment plans and by appropriate documentation.
