Job description
Responsibilities include setting up equipment to fabricate, weld and/or braze production parts/assemblies, performing a 100 percent test, and performing repairs as needed using independent judgment. Operator may perform one or more of the following tasks: tack for furnace, reclaim, tack, auto mig, tig end, bracket fixture, repair, and ADOC weld. The welding function includes the ability to read blueprints and understand welding codes and symbols, along with the ability to select machine settings to perform quality welding using inert gas (GMAW) and tungsten inert gas (GTAW). Operator may be responsible for the setup of equipment. Responsible for running the necessary amount of parts to meet production requirements working off of Bill of Material.
