Job description
Under the direction of the plant manager or designated Supervisor;
performs a wide variety of skilled tasks involved in building and equipment
maintenance; performs related work as required.
Primary responsibilities include;
Troubleshooting and fabricating equipment, repairs for production processes, including forklifts, material handling equipment, pumps, air compressors, boilers, pipefitting & threading, some basic welding skills preferred.
Completes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience preferred
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
- Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Requires occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Fork Lift experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
