Onsite Equipment Manufacturing is seeking an Experienced Job-Shop Welder, with a strong commitment to excellence and “getting the job done”, to join our West Chicago, IL manufacturing and assembly department.
Our team strives to build a fantastic workplace and keep our unmatched customer satisfaction reputation. The ideal candidate must be punctual, reliable, a self-starter, have strong attention to detail, and be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Job-shop welding experience is required. Some assembly and electrical experience is a plus.
Benefits & Compensation
- $28 to $35 an hour [commensurate with experience]
- Full Time, Monday through Friday, Day Shift
- Paid time off
- Simple IRA (after 12 months)
- Monthly Medical Stipend
Duties
- Read and follow blueprints, shop drawings, and sketches to execute jobs and tasks
- Assemble items as per specifications.
- Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment, manually (up to 60 pounds), or using a hoist for heavier objects.

- Keep work area clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment.
Requirements

- Must have excellent welding skills
- Five years' experience in the industry. Must pass a hands-on skill demonstration test
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to lift 60lbs
