If you're looking to expand your skills in welding/fabrication, or you're an experienced welder tired of seeing the same plans, we provide variety and opportunities! Our Welders earn a starting salary of $18.00 (entry-level basic knowledge) or $20.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Our Day Shift hours are:
(Option 1) Monday-Thursday 4:00am – 4:00pm or 5:00am –5:00pm, Friday 4:00am – 12:00pm or 5:00am –1:00pm
(Option 2) Monday-Friday 4:00am - 3:00pm or 5:00am – 4:00pm

What You'll Do:

  • Cut and prepare surfaces or components
  • Lay out, position, fit, tack, weld, and finish a variety of parts or products following established methods and specifications according to procedures, layouts, blueprints, diagrams, work orders, or oral instructions.
  • Handle and position heavy components using an overhead crane, clamps, jigs, and fixtures
  • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positions
  • Must be able to safety MIG, TIG, stick weld, and arc gouge
  • Must inspect metal prior to welding for smoothness and acceptability and clean welds to presentable state (grinding operations)
  • Must inspect welds for proper welding and quality
  • Participate in process and product development and improvement programs, teams, and focus groups.
  • Other job duties as assigned

What We Need from You:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Forklift, overhead crane, and rigging experience required
  • Must pass weld test
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret detailed drawings
  • Ability to read and comprehend a tape measure. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to understand welding symbols and diagrams, read blueprints, and/or other printed instructional material in the welding of products or parts.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Willingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks or positions in the Company outside of or in addition to primarily assigned position, work area, or department
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Primary work assignment will require employees to frequently push/pull/lift from the floor to the table and lift from table to shoulder level, up to 50 pounds. Employees may occasionally push/pull/lift below or above shoulder level greater than 50 pounds if they are physically able to safely do it
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for this position, including hearing protection, safety glasses, safety steel toe boots, face shield, welding helmet, welding gloves, work gloves, and welding sleeves/jacket (leather or cloth). A hard hat and respirator may also be required.
  • Perform work in a heavy industrial setting with exposure to heat, cold, humidity, industrial odors, fumes, gasses, chemicals, oil, grease, smoke, dust, noise, and vibration, and involves climbing ladders and stairs, using pneumatic tools, working in cramped quarters, and working with moving machinery
