Maine Oxy is currently looking to fill a Store Manager position in our South Portland, ME location. This is a full-time position responsible for managing the Maine Oxy Store operations. Join our growing store and work with a great team! This position is Monday - Friday 7:15am-5pm!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Promoting safety as Job #1
- Overseeing the South Portland Store
- Managing and motivating the team to increase sales and ensure efficiency
- Managing inventory levels and making key decisions about inventory control
- Responding to customer needs, comments and complaints
- Organizing special promotions, displays and events
- Promote the organization locally by communicating with the community in general
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Packaged gas or welding knowledge (preferred but not required)
- DOT Knowledge is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership and management qualities, and knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures
- Proven and consistently demonstrated customer service and relationship building skills
- Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- High school diploma
- Regularly required to see, speak and hear. ·
- Frequent sitting and standing, walking, bending, using hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; may stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- Ability to perform very heavy work—regularly lift 10-20 pounds and occasionally lift 50-100 pounds.
