Position Type: Full-Time
Work Site: Patuxent River, MD
Work Location: Hybrid. Candidates are required to work onsite 2-5 days per month and must reside within 90 miles of Patuxent River, MD (see COVID-19 procedures below).

**COVID-19 Procedures: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received.

Essential Functions:

• May assist with re-platforming and migration of government on-premise Windows and/or Unix/Linux hosted Web sites, applications, and systems to AWS cloud environments:
• Communicate and work with cloud migration SMEs and data center personnel to verify and update migration plan, specifications, actions, and tasking.
• Create and maintain cloud migration documentation including detailed SOPs and checklists.
• Adhere to cloud migration schedules.
• Track, document, and provide progress on application/system migrations.
• Report issues and risks to cloud project manager.
• Performs the installation, integration, configuration, and testing of Web sites and applications hosted on Unix/Linux and Windows based servers
• Windows Web server software includes but is not limited to: Tomcat, Java JDK, .NET, IIS, PHP, ColdFusion, and Business Objects.
• Install, configure, and test COTS and Web sites.
• Ensure compliance to related DoD STIGs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve server/software issues.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications and Experience:
Required:

• Windows and/or Unix/Linux web/systems administration experience required.
• Installation/configuration of web and application server software required.
• Troubleshooting of server/software issues required.
• CompTIA Security+ certification required (must show proof of cert prior to interview).

Desired:

• Experience migrating on-premise applications/systems to cloud-based (AWS) environments a plus.
• Knowledge of DISA STIGS and Security Policies desired.

Security Clearance:
Active Secret clearance required with ability to obtain TS/SSBI. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:
BS/BA degree preferred. 3+ years related experience required.
