Summary

Flatwater Inc. is looking to fill this position with the most qualified applicant, Flatwater is a subsidiary of Ho-Chunk Inc. the economic development company of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska. The Web Developer must be capable of developing and maintaining Adobe ColdFusion based web applications, providing technical documentation, coding to industry standards, and team oversight. The web developer is responsible for planning and developing software solutions and web applications, supporting and maintaining a company's websites and digital products. The day-to-day work of the web developer highly depends on constantly evolving internet innovations.

Essential Functions

• Build and optimize a secure web page for evolving business needs
• Provide continued support for one or more web properties
• Maintain communication with team members and supervisors concerning the direction of the website
• Code and script applications
• Perform routine site audits, as well as ongoing maintenance, on an as-needed basis
• Analyzing and troubleshooting services for complex problems, recommending improvements, staying up to date on security vulnerabilities, new features, hardware, software, and feasibility determination.
• Knowledge of ColdFusion Server, Content Management Systems, preferably Mura, Adobe Media Server, and SQL
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility of new features
• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
• Collaborate with web designers to realize visual design intent

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has tasking others and accountability requirements but no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position.

Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Travel

25% travel or less is expected for this position.

Education and Experience

A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in technologies ColdFusion, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, SQL, Content Management Systems, Bootstrap, and WCAG 2.0 AA conformance standards.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Security background check with fingerprinting will be conducted and clearance at this level will need to be maintained.
