Job Duties

  • Develop and launch websites with various functionalities from the ground-up, writing clean/efficient code according to current best practices
  • Development of landing pages for email or digital advertising campaigns
  • Collaborate with designers and other developers to produce web-ready assets from mockups and integrate with existing code structures
  • SEO – knowledge and skill with technical SEO set up
  • Knowledge and skill running quality assurance, device testing and launching sites
  • Project management – stay on task, on schedule and within budget; balancing multiple projects at once
  • Coordination – work with multiple team members to accomplish project
  • Website maintenance – experience updating and maintaining already launched websites in an ongoing fashion
  • Participate in client-facing strategy meetings and contribute to the discussion with constructive ideas
  • Provide constructive art direction alongside your fellow creatives
  • Work on projects of varying length and complexity
  • Contribute to improvements in our creative process and capabilities
  • Assist with estimating projects and contributing to client proposals
  • Assist with other duties as assigned

Skills / Experience

  • 3+ years of experience with WordPress
  • Familiarity with Webflow, Craft CMS and/or other content management systems
  • Highly skilled in typical frontend development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, React, etc.)
  • Skilled or familiar with typical backend development languages (PHP, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of MySQL databases
  • Website hosting maintenance / management
  • Familiarity with Adobe XD, Figma and/or Sketch
  • Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager
  • Adobe Creative Cloud, MS Office, Google Drive
  • Comfortable learning other software and platforms as necessary (project management software, proofing software, etc.)
