This is a fully remote position out of the following states only: OR, WA, CA, ID, NV, MT, UT, CO, NM, TX, KS, IN, TN, SC, VA, NY. The hours are Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm, Pacific Time.

Summary
AllCare Health is looking for an experienced developer to join our team in Grants Pass, Oregon where we practice continual improvement, collaboration and mentorship, improved security in everything we do as we increase our feature suite.

Essential Duties

1. Create, improve and maintain data-driven web applications and APIs using Microsoft .NET Core framework and
Microsoft SQL Server.
2. Design overall architecture of application databases.
3. Manage code versioning using GIT.
4. Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
5. Work to improve the performance, reliability and security of our website and supporting systems.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work from home using team collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack/Mattermost, and Microsoft DevOps.
  • Highly proficient with C# on .NET Core framework and Transact-SQL.
  • Competent with developing APIs using RESTful architecture, web applications using Razor and Vue.js., and working with Entity Framework or Dapper.
  • Comfortable developing and debugging with Visual Studio IDE.
  • Comprehensive knowledge with Microsoft SQL Server including: Designing normalized tables; proper application of primary keys, foreign keys, unique constraints, and indices; develop stored procedures, views, triggers to support CRUD operations; working knowledge of GIT for version control.
  • Experience with SDLC Methodologies.
  • Agile, use of architectural patterns/frameworks.
  • Ability to collaborate on requirements for projects and requests.
  • Ability to properly assess and articulate work.
  • Knowledgeable in applicable data privacy practices and regulations (PII, PHI, HIPAA) is preferred.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

Computer Skills
Has advanced skills in working with hardware, software, support, and management of computer systems and can adapt extremely well to newer applications. Has advanced skills working with programming and networking computer software and systems.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and work with several abstract and concrete variables.
