Job Title: Wealth Management Assistant

Report To: Advisor

Job Status: Full Time Monday-Friday (On site)

Job Summary

Pustover Financial Services in Imperial, PA is seeking a Wealth Management Assistant for a small independent financial planning firm to support the Financial Advisors in the office. He/She is responsible for providing excellent service, support and follow-through with the purpose of delivering an exceptional client experience and maintaining an efficient and organized office. This position requires a highly-dependable, trustworthy, motivated, and self-driven candidate. The Wealth Management Assistant must be organized and ensure completion of a large number of tasks and projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Process account opening for brokerage, direct, annuity, and Life Insurance platforms, will need to finalize and follow up for completion.
• Monitor and oversee compliance procedures.
• Research and respond to client correspondence.
• Research and resolve client service tasks.
• Obtain working industry knowledge and overall familiarity with relevant internal and Broker-Dealer resources.
• Prepare, organize, coordinate, and maintain client paperwork.
• Support advisor(s) with client administrative services.
• Support ongoing efforts for growth with new and existing clients.
• Maintain processes and procedures checklists and update when necessary to improve upon processes currently in place.
• Interact with clients in a welcoming and professional manner.

Periodic Duties and Responsibilities

• Be available for other projects as needed

Skills and Abilities Required:

• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Work with established deadlines.
• Be proficient in data entry using a CRM (Redtail preferred).
• Be proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Be proficient using financial software (preferred eMoney, Albridge and Pershing).
• Have an aptitude and interest in current and developing technology.
• Be self-motivated and work independently.
• Communicate effectively with clients, prospects, public, and coworkers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Express ideas clearly in both written and oral communications.
• Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, instructions and manuals.
• Mathematical Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide with the ability to understand and apply percentages.

Education and Experience

• Experience 3 plus years in the Wealth Management industry is preferred.
• FINRA Licenses are preferred but not required
• Notary is preferred but not required
• PA Life/Health License a plus
