Shift Requirements:

• Start Time- 07:00 am, 8hr Shift (40 in a week)
• M-F, 40 hours no weekends, no holidays.

Must-Have:

• 2 years of Healthcare experience
• Basic Procurement knowledge
• Inventory Management
• Basic PC Skills, Microsoft Teams
• High School Diploma
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 35lbs

Primary Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to provide timely, accurate, and comprehensive services related to providing stock and non-stock supplies and equipment to all hospital departments and alternate sites of care, including time-share offices. This includes activities involving receiving, distribution, bulk and logical unit of measure deliveries, on-demand services, 2-bin inventory deployment and management, inventory control and attention to days on hand levels, storeroom management and maintenance, housekeeping, root cause analysis and error proofing, lean management, continuous improvement and the use of various technologies, including, but not limited to bar code scanning, electronic receiving, delivery and chain of custody tools and applications and remote work locations, as assigned.

Major Responsibilities:

• Implements processes and procedures for supply/equipment evaluation and acquisition for Surgical Services.
• In collaboration with CPD staff, implements complete case cart processes, policies, and procedures.
• Participates in meeting cost reduction goals of Clients.
• Works in collaboration with clinical coordinators, support staff, team leaders, surgical specialists, clinical managers, and physicians in providing Materials Management services.
• Utilizes guest relations techniques with members of the healthcare team and sales representatives.

Education/Experience Required:

• High School diploma.
• 12 months experience, stocking experience, and/or receivingexperience preferred.
• Experience with mainframe or PC computer systems.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

• Good communication & customer relation skills.
• Good organization and math skills.
• Must be computer literate.
• Must function as a “team” member. Ability to prioritize workflow.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly Ability to demonstrate critical thinking.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.
• For lifts over 35 pounds, lifting equipment is expected to be used or lift with at least one other associate when available.
• Unique lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
