Warehouse Supervisor, Day Shift.
Position Overview:
In this role, the
Warehouse Supervisor, Day Shift will be responsible for overseeing the safety, efficiency, and productivity of the warehouse operations. You will oversee the employees and monitor the operational process.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising the operations of the Warehouse under the direction of the Warehouse Director.
- Ensuring all equipment is in proper working condition.
- Organizing the workflow to complete shifts effectively.
- Communicate with the Warehouse Associates.
- Keep track of productivity and employee performance. Make any adjustments to ensure goals are met.
- Ensure processes are being followed.
- Training and evaluating the performance of the employees.
- Create and provide daily reports to the Warehouse Director.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience:
- 2 plus years of experience supervising employees in a Warehouse setting.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience.
- Proficient with MS Office (Excel and word).
- Experience with TEAMS and Zoom Meetings.
- Ability to analyze data and advise on making constructive changes.
- Forklift experience is a must.
- Experience with an Articulated Forklift is a plus.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for a long period of time.
- Ability to reach, bend and kneel.
