The facility currently operates 24 hours/day 7 days/week. The Warehouse department utilizes a rotating schedule with every other weekend off. Swing shift 1-2nd shift hours.

Warehouse Receiver: Summary:

Working from verbal, written, or computer, generated instructions and according to established operating procedures.

Starting Rate is $24.80!!

Your Day-to-Day

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned.)

  • Unloads Pentane from Railcars and tanker trucks following STRICT safety protocols
  • Helps coordinate other activities associated with service quality.
  • Operate forklift and carpet poll to move materials as required.
  • Unload all materials on inbound trucks
  • Complete receiving paperwork relating to materials as required.
  • Completes weekly count of all chemical material items and records on Excel spreadsheet. Turning them into the Materials Manager for reconciliation
  • Checks bill of lading against actual loads quantities received.
  • Must be willing to assist others when needs arise.
  • Inspects mobile equipment and completes the appropriate checklist(s).
  • Assists production crews with raw materials needed, i.e., nail board sheets & protector, and Invinsa board supplies.
  • Follow all Johns Manville safety procedures and policies.
  • Determine levels and quantity of all raw materials on hand vs. production schedule, ambient temperature conditions and unload/pumping time and plan unloading activities accordingly.
  • Coordinate with railroad the order and placement of railcars to bring into the siding for unloading. Utilize the railroad online site as well as telephone conversations with dispatch.
  • Manages the unloading of railcars to avoid/minimize demurrage charges and accidental release.
  • Unloads raw material railcars including Pentane.
  • Unloads raw material trucks including Pentane.
  • Follows JSA's, uses safe work practices, and reports all hazardous conditions. Wears protective clothing & equipment as required.
  • Schedule release of railcars with railroad.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts weekly, monthly, and annual year end physical count.
  • Monitors short term storage of recyclable items and request pick up of same. Loads recycle trailer to keep floor space organized.
  • Working knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Maintain housekeeping in assigned areas inside and outside.
  • Receive UPS, FEDEX, and other package carriers. Deliver/Distribute received items to appropriate individuals.
  • Complete “receiving transactions” in SAP for all purchase orders. Includes items not physically received, i.e., Annex rent, maintenance agreement for fleet vehicles and other services.
  • Must adhere to all DOT/FRA regulatory requirements and be knowledgeable in such requirements. All supporting documentation must be maintained in accordance with all regulations.
  • Manage and develop raw material storage layouts to accommodate continuous growth based on changing business requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • HS Diploma or GED
  • Have general math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and percentages).
  • Beginner to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft office).
  • Solid Communication Skills (written/verbal).
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional team player.
  • Working knowledge of SAP is a plus.
