About the position: New automotive supplier in the McCalla/Bessemer, AL area seeking experience QC Inspectors. In this role, candidate is responsible for verifying product quality. Full time position on day shift 6am-3pm. Starting pay rate of $15.00/ hour.
Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspection for non-conformance and reject parts as needed.
- Verify product fit, hardware, color, size, etc.
- Inspect parts using quality inspection tools such as calipers, gages, micrometers, etc.
- Update part boards and manage paper documentation daily.
- Compile documents for all non-conforming parts and report findings.
- Serve as floater on production to provide breaks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year quality inspection experience.
- Attention to detail with a focus on quality.
- Ability to multi-task and maintain production goals in a fast paced environment.
