(Casual Warehouse & Production Assistant)

The Role

This role is a casual position that reports into the Warehouse & Logistics Manager.

Responsibilities

• The accurate and rapid filling and labelling of bottles, tins, and boxes.

• Constructing and taping cartons.

• Operating a semi-automatic filling machine.

• Packing finished products securely into cartons.

• Picking and packing customer orders and attaching shipping labels.

• Stacking cartons onto pallets and securing pallets appropriately.

• Monitoring quality and rectifying inconsistencies where needed.

• Packing gift boxes.

• Ensuring all packaging items that contain liquid are leak-free.

• Monitoring and tracking of inventory.

• General warehouse organisation and cleaning.

• Actively participate in risk management and escalate safety issues appropriately.

• Actively seek to find ways to improve and optimise workflow and processes.

• Contribute to building a positive working environment.

• Other duties as reasonably requested.

You Will Possess

• An interest in plants.

• Minimum 6 months manufacturing worker experience.

• A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality to ensure that every product is consistently shelf-ready.

• Strong teamwork skills.

• Autonomy and self-management to maintain a high output of work even when unattended.

• Strong organisational skills.

• Ability to take direction and learn fast.

• Hold flexible work hours.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Salary: $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Houston, TX 77023: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
