The Warehouse Picker will retrieve stock to fill customer orders and transport items to the shipping desk for packing.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Fill and complete customer orders in containers and shipping boxes.
• Perform quality checks to identify and replace damaged materials.
• Shrink wrap products and material orders prior to loading on trucks.
• Fill customer order according to size, color, quantity, and quality specifications.
• Picking/Packing/verifying orders.
• Pull inventory from racks either manually or using equipment.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment.
• Receives orders from the order desk and retrieves goods from warehouse.
• Checks packing list for accuracy and inspects collected goods.
• Delivers materials to packing desk for packing and updates
• Uses an order-picker to pull orders when needed.
• Follows safety rules for warehouse when picking an order.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to operate various types of materials handling equipment including:- Pallet jacks

  • Rolling ladder
  • Pallet Wrapper Machine

• Basic math skills

• Basic computer skills – Excel, Printing labels

• Knowledge of 3rd

  party software applications a plus- UPS Worldship

  • FedEx Manager
  • Certain customer portals

• Must be comfortable with elevation of up to 16ft

• Must be able to work 6am-230pm/830am-5pm

• Must be able to read and write in English

• Must be a team player with a positive attitude and great work ethic whether they are working with others or working unsupervised.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years’ experience in warehouse environment preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Must be in good physical condition
• Must be able to stand and/or bend for long periods of time (Varied based on daily tasks)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to push/pull carts that weigh up to 100lbs
• Must have good hand/eye coordination

Pay Range: $14 - $16 / hour
