GVH Distribution is looking for a motivated and energetic individual to fill our Order Selector position in our Woodridge, IL facility.
This is a full time position offering up to 40 hours per week. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday.
The pay range for this position is $17.00-$19.00 per hour ($17.00 base rate plus up to $2.00 bonus incentives). $500 sign-on bonus- New hire must successfully complete 90 days of employment
General Duties of the Order Selector:
- Cross train with co-workers in the warehouse (receiving, order selecting, label sorting, cross docking process, cycle counting/inventory, etc.)
- Performs various warehouse cleaning duties
- Hand select orders
- Stack product on pallets according to proper selecting procedure
- Stage pallets for auditing, wrapping, and loading
- Shrink-wrap product on loading dock
- Preparing for inbound orders by preparing slots and paperwork
- Receive product according to supervisor specifications; follow Bill of Lading protocol
- Perform "slot replenishment" and "down stacking" daily
- Other assigned warehouse duties
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2 years of warehouse experience
- 2 years of order selecting experience
- 2 years of forklift and/or electric pallet jack experience
Requirements:
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs and very physically active at all times during work shift
