AFCO Distribution & Milling
Warehouse Order Selector
Spokane Valley, WA
AFCO Distribution is a fast-paced environment where the team splits up to fulfill each customer’s order, then comes together at the end of the night to finish any remaining tasks and help each other out with large orders. This position requires safely driving and operating a forklift or reach truck, picking customers orders and arranging the items onto a pallet to prepare for loading into a trailer. Our team members can often be found buzzing around, jamming out to music, and busting out some orders!

WAGE
Starting wage for swing shift is $17.00/hour with opportunities to advance. Prior experience not required; we will train you on all equipment.
SCHEDULE
This is a swing shift position; 1:30 PM - 10:30 PM.
Full-time and part-time positions are available. Let us know what your schedule is and we can try to find a schedule that works for you!
Full-time is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Must be available to work weekends occasionally as needed.
Part-time positions are available as well. Hours within the timeframe of 1:30 PM - 10:30 PM are flexible as well as days; Monday - Friday.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete customer orders by safely and accurately picking, loading and unloading products as needed
- Operate a reach truck to pick products from warehouse racking
- Use an RF Scan gun to scan products and pallets
- Use various hand tools, forklifts, reach trucks, and delivery vehicles
- Assist in the regular maintenance associated with cleaning the warehouse and personal station areas
- Demonstrate knowledge pertaining to the diverse products carried
- Exhibit an ability to get along well with others
- Practice punctual and reliable attendance
- Other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment (includes THC/marijuana)
- Possess a valid driver license with safe driving history
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older to perform the functions of this position for compliance with state and federal rules
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods; bend, stoop and kneel frequently
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 60 pounds (occasionally 80 pounds with assistance)
